"The Lee Fire" - During the wrath of Colorado's 5th largest wildfire, the cooperative spirit shined bright. Crews from WREA's wholesale power provider, Tri-State G&T were dispatched to help re-build and re-energize transmission infrastructure lost in the Lee Fire so that power to those within the Town of Meeker would remain stable. Our cooperative principal "Cooperation Among Cooperatives" has never been so alive and well at WREA. Thank you to Tri-State G&T for not only helping in our time of need and supporting our community, but for creating this video montage to help document the events of those fateful days in August, 2025.
